You’re invited to join a closing reception of “COMFORT WOMEN” Then and Now – Who They Were and Why We Should Remember Them which began on March 2, 2024.

Part of the closing reception will be a panel discussion “How to Teach Difficult History” with Professor Jing Williams (Univ. South Dakota), community leader Chancee Martorell (Thai CDC), a retired judge turned activist Lillian Sing (Comfort Women Justice Coalition, SF), and “comfort women” advocate Phyllis Kim (Comfort Women Action for Redress and Education).

Please join us to see the exhibition and learn from each other about “How to teach difficult history.”

  • Where: Museum of Social Justice (115 Paseo de la Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012)
