You’re invited to join a closing reception of “COMFORT WOMEN” Then and Now – Who They Were and Why We Should Remember Them which began on March 2, 2024.
Part of the closing reception will be a panel discussion “How to Teach Difficult History” with Professor Jing Williams (Univ. South Dakota), community leader Chancee Martorell (Thai CDC), a retired judge turned activist Lillian Sing (Comfort Women Justice Coalition, SF), and “comfort women” advocate Phyllis Kim (Comfort Women Action for Redress and Education).
