Invitation – International Women’s Day Community Gathering in Glendale

Dear friends,

In honor of International Women’s Day, and in remembrance of all victims of the Japanese military “comfort women” system, we warmly invite you to join us for a community gathering at the Peace Monument in Glendale.

• Glendale Peace Monument 

This commemorative event is co-hosted by Hwarang Youth Foundation, the Korea-Glendale Sister City Association, and CARE (Comfort Women Action for Redress and Education).

Together, we will reflect, remember, and reaffirm our shared commitment to human rights, dignity, and historical justice.

Following the gathering, CARE invites attendees to a small reception at the ARC, where light refreshments will be served. This will be an opportunity to connect with one another, share updates, and learn more about CARE’s recent activities and onging educational initiatives.

We hope you will join us in this meaningful time of remembrance and community.

이번 행사는 화랑 청소년 재단, 코리아 글렌데일 자매도시위원회, 그리고 저희 CARE가 공동으로 주최합니다.

함께 모여 할머니들을 기억하고, 인권과 존엄, 그리고 역사 정의에 대한 우리의 약속을 다시 한번 다짐하고자 합니다.

행사 후에는 CARE가 준비한 간단한 다과 리셉션이 이어집니다. 최근 활동 소식과 향후 계획을 나누고, 서로 교류하는 뜻깊은 시간이 될 것입니다.
