THANK YOU SO MUCH, everyone, for coming out to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Glendale Peace Monument with us!!
It was amazing to have you all – Mayor of Glendale Dan Brotman, former Mayor Frank Quintero, Councilmember Paula Devine, California Senator Portantino, Congresswoman Judy Chu, from the office of Assemblymember Laura Friedman, former LA City Attorney Mike Feuer, Co-chairs of San Francisco CWJC (Retired Judges) Lillian Sing and Julie Tang, Chairperson Jennifer Chung of the Global Alliance for Preserving the History of WWII in Asia, President James An of The Korean American Federation of Los Angeles, student groups including Hwarang Youth Foundation, Shakespeare for All, Next Generation Advocates, and our community partner organizations including Nikkei for Civil Rights and Redress, Nikkei Progressives, Thai CDC, Pilipino Workers Center, Center for Pacific Asian Family, Korean American Family Services, and more. We had guests who drove from Palm Springs, San Diego and who flew in from Dallas, Texas!!
